A fast web site is a happy web site. Windy Citizen can often be the opposite of a fast web site. Speed it up.

I was hoping to put several polls in the Windy Citizen blogs as well as the main site since we're already the voice of Chicago.

Think about it, if this is the alternative voice to the mainstream outlets, I think polls would get a nice pulse on how people feel.

The button tools page at http://www.windycitizen.com/buttons is broken. It look like the entire contents of the page are mistakenly duplicated in the meta description field.

Every time I try, it says "The name Richard Giraldi is a reserved username." at the top of the main page.

The group search is lagging like crazy, and when you go from any kind of group search, back to the main page, all the banner links go away. Plus, the links for "find a group" and "start a group" are embedded over the top portion of the user info.

Also, is there a way to have a list of groups? Seems like in order to post to a group, you have to already have some knowledge of its existence...
